Todd Shifflett
Visual Effects Supervisor
Todd Shifflett is currently one of the co-visual effects supervisors for the Rhythm & Hues creative team on “Little Fockers” for Universal Pictures. He recently supervised the studio’s work for “Cabin in the Woods” for MGM, and was co-VFX supervisor on “Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel” for Fox. His additional VFX supervisor credits include “Cirque du Freak,” “Charlotte’s Web” and the Academy Award-winning “Happy Feet,” (2006, Best Animated Feature).
Since joining the studio in 1993, Todd has been an integral part of many of the high profile projects that have cemented Rhythm & Hues Studio’s reputation as an industry-leading producer of effects and animation for movies and commercials. Among his earliest assignments as a digital artist was on the Coca-Cola Polar Bears campaign. Soon after, as CG supervisor, Todd led the development of the pipeline and software on the Oscar-winning “Babe,” making the project technically possible.
Prior to joining Rhythm & Hues, Todd worked at the renowned New York advertising agency R/Greenberg and Associates, while attending NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he where he received degrees in both Film & Television production as well as Computer Science.
